Visit Maramures

The best way to travel inside Maramures and to discover its beauty would be to drive to the main locations and then to have some walks (or bike rides) in the rural area, through the villages and between them.

An alternative to travelling by car are the buses. There are daily buses that connect Baia Mare with Sighetu Marmatiei and with other major locations in Maramures. The bus station in Baia Mare is situated on Str. Garii (right near the train station) and can be called at +40 262 221 777. The bus station in Sighet can be called at +40 262 311 512.
