Baia Mare Ethnography and Folk Art Museum

Located at the foot of the Florilor Hill, the Ethnography and Folk Art Museum reflects the traditional occupations, crafts, folk clothing and religious objects specific to old Maramures.

In 1978, an open air section is added to the Ethnography Museum-the Village Museum that covers the traditional architecture and technical installations of the four ethnographic regions of Maramures:Chioar, Lapus, Codru and old Maramures.

The museum presents traditional households from our county, a beautiful wooden church and a section dedicated to water mills.
