They are between 800 and 1800 m in height, the highest being Bran Peak, with a height of 1840 m. Here, one can visit the Arcer-Țibleș-Bran mixed nature reserve, a protected area, recognized for its special geological, floristic and faunal potential. From the Ţibleş Mountains tourists can admire 3 regions: Maramureş, Lăpuş and Năsăud county.
