About
Although its antiquity is disputed by specialists, the church "The Holy Archangels Michael and Gabriel" in Buzești has been dated by inscription since 1799, being made of oak wood on a stone foundation. It is part of the layout specific to the Orthodox places of worship, with a porch, narthex, nave and detached altar. The bell tower was initially taller, but was rebuilt following a storm, and currently measures 22.3 m. The interior painting was made in the 19th century, being attributed by some to the painter Ștefan of Sișești.
